As we expand our Brandon facility, Cascadia Metals is seeking dedicated and qualified candidates for the role of Machine Operator. This position is integral to maintaining operational efficiency while adhering to our high standards for safety and quality. Monday to Friday, shifts may vary.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to proper procedure and safety regulations.
• Operate assigned machines and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Prepare, set up, and clean the machines before starting work, after completing work, and as required.
• Review, troubleshoot, and repair quality control issues with your team leader and/or supervisor.
• Follow Company regulations and procedures to uphold the Company's quality and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience is an asset.
• Proven experience operating machinery and/or computer-controlled equipment.
• Familiarity and comfort with various hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational skills with effective communication abilities.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on problem-solving and efficiency.
• Ability to maintain focus and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet (bending, standing, walking) for extended periods.
