The Parts Technician is responsible for sourcing parts required by the service mechanics and customers for over-the-counter sales. This role acts as the main point of contact between our service mechanics and customers and suppliers. In addition, the Parts person will maintain appropriate inventory levels for our commonly used items during day-to-day operations KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI):PROCUREMENT (Weighting 45%)Procurement -Service

- Source, and process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring details are accurate for contract, quoted and ad-hawk service work.
- Prepare return orders, for unused parts from work orders or inventory, with suppliers.
- Request quotations from suppliers and review them for accuracy and compliance as requested by the Sales team.
- Process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring details are accurate based on requests from the Projects team.
- Source, and process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring details are accurate for daily projects operations.
- Prepare return orders, for unused parts from projects, with suppliers.
- Process invoice approvals ensuring details are accurate
- Verify coding requirements for all Purchase orders for proper division allocation.
- Review freight invoices, confirming charges are accurate and accounted for.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of commonly used parts and components.
- Manage inventory transfers and returns to suppliers.
- Review weekly cycle counts, address discrepancies, and handle inventory adjustments.
- Monitor consumable inventory, implement control measures, and manage restocking procedures.
- Create Asset Cards for new tools and equipment, Tag tools and equip trackers.
- Track assets tools and equipment, ensuring accountability and maintenance.
- Work with Customers to source parts and solutions based on their requests.
- Provide quotes based on inventory levels and supplier lead times.
- Process customer Purchase orders and provide accurate confirmations
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Journeyman Parts Technician certificate or equivalent preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement or parts management, ideally in construction, Oil & Gas or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in procurement processes, software, and tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
