We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to support our communications efforts.
As a Communications Assistant, you will be a vital member of our team, helping to develop and implement effective communication strategies. This role involves creating content, managing social media, assisting with public relations efforts, and supporting various communications initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of communication plans and strategies
- Draft, edit, and proofread various communications materials, including press releases, newsletters, articles, and social media content
- Coordinate and manage our social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement with followers
- Help organize events, meetings, and press conferences, including logistics and communication materials
- Monitor media coverage and track communications metrics to measure effectiveness
- Support internal communication initiatives to keep employees informed and engaged
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding
- Assist in maintaining the company's website and other digital platforms
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Previous experience in communications, internships, or related areas is a plus
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools
- Familiarity with graphic design and content management systems is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A proactive and collaborative attitude, with the ability to work independently as needed
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
