You are

You will

  • Provide administrative and accounting support to the Corporate Accounting Team
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Deposit cheques using RBC Cheque Pro service
  • Perform bank runs as needed
  • Post all payments received, including cheques and Electronic Funds Transfers
  • Process monthly Accounts Receivable invoices
  • Inquire about outstanding Accounts Receivable balances and resolve discrepancies
  • Process Accounts Payable and act as back up for Accounts Payable holiday relief
  • Address inquiries from Accounts Payable vendors
  • Assist with filing, archiving and scanning of financial records
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to obtain all required documents
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned

You have

  • A minimum 1-year accounting/bookkeeping experience and some post-secondary education in Accounting
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with Yardi
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great people skills, able to relate well to others and state your case

Salary Range

  • $58,000 - $68,000 per year estimated, bask on experience and qualifications
