Static Security Guard - General Responsibilities

• Provide a security presence in various settings (Offices, Malls, Parks, Events, etc...)
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public
• Ensure client property and personnel are safe secure
• Conduct foot patrols, including standing and walking and security inspections for assigned facilities
• Interact with a wide range of people in varied environments
• Compassionately and respectfully enforce private property laws
• Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• A valid BC Security Worker's License is required
• Must be available weekends
• Must have valid OFA certification or willing to obtain
• Previous Retail Security is preferred
  

• Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures
  
• Must be able to provide compassionate service to the diverse populations
• Must be able to follow procedure set by our clients and Footprints Security
  
• Top-notch customer service
• A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills
  
• Must be physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc.
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Able to complete high-quality reports
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
  
• Flexible availability morning, afternoon and evenings (*Must be available weekends*)
