Skills - Must Have: Minimum 2 years of experience at another CPA firm in Canada not sole proprietorship or self employment experience Current work experience at a CPA firm in Canada 4+ years of Private enterprise experience doing compilations, reviews, NTR's, audit engagements and tax returns experience (T1's and T2's) Experience working with privately held companies small private companies, owner managed/ family operated businesses, NPO's, etc. CPA designation in Canada Must be able to work 5 days on-site in Edmonton;

Our client is looking for keen, team-oriented experienced Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for delivering a range of public accounting services to a variety of clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Advising on solution focused recommendations to clients Leading and executing on client engagementso Planningo Timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting for a variety of clienteleo Performance of financial statement audit tests and preparation of audit working paperso Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns Review of small to medium engagements Responsible for managing current client relationship Represent PAND at networking and industry events to leverage new business development Obtain a basic understanding of our clients' businesses and learn their best practices

Education & Experience

5 years of progressive professional accounting experience in public practice Understanding of accounting and auditing standards and principles, tax regulations and legal documents in a financial environment Experience leading and mentoring teams CPA designation

Business acumen Proven relationship builder Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong time management and organizational skills Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Suite
