Responsibilities
- Operate snow removal equipment, such as snow blowers, snow shovels, snowplows, or salt spreaders, depending on the job and equipment availability.
- Shovel, snow blow, or use other hand tools to manually remove snow and ice from designated areas.
- Apply salt, sand, or other de-icing agents to surfaces to improve traction and melt ice.
- Be prepared to respond to emergency calls for snow removal, especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions.
- Clean and valid drivers license
- On-Call availability, especially during evenings, weekends, and holidays from November April
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Prior snow experience is an asset
