Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Content Specialist will be responsible for developing high-quality content that aligns with the companys brand voice and marketing goals. The Marketing Content Specialist will create engaging, relevant, and optimized content for a variety of distribution channels and formats including the company website, blogs, social media, videos, and email campaigns. The content generated will require collaboration with team members across various functional teams as well as with customers.

General Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce a variety of long- and short-form content, including blog posts, articles, website material, social media posts, email newsletters, and video scripts
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends to understand the needs and interests of the target audience in the context of their user persona and buyers journey.
  • Conduct research - including interviews with clinical users and industry KOLs - to develop clear, engaging messaging that represent the value of the companys solutions
  • Collaborate with the marketing team, product management team, and engineering teams to develop and execute content strategies that support marketing campaigns and business goals.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to ensure content is optimized for search engine results.
  • Manage content lifecycle from ideation to publication, ensuring consistency in style, tone, and branding.
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar for the release and management of scheduled content.
  • Analyze and track content performance through metrics such as engagement, traffic, conversion rates, and SEO rankings to optimize future content and improve results.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in content creation, writing, or digital marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a passion for storytelling.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword search, and content optimization techniques.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in healthcare IT is desired.
  • Experience with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite and analytics tools like Google Analytics are desired.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality talent.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
