As the NOC Analyst 1, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Being the First Line of Support: Handle client support requests through phone, email, and remote access, offering quick and friendly solutions for hardware, software, and application issues.
  • Diagnosing and Resolving: Analyze and troubleshoot within strict timelines, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients.
  • Escalating When Needed: Keep things running smoothly by escalating any issues that exceed billable time and following up with clients and internal teams.
  • Keeping Records Organized: Document client updates in our systems (ConnectWise or IT Glue) to keep everything running seamlessly.
  • On-Call Rotation: Occasionally join the on-call rotation for after-hours support.

On your resume, we will be seeking the following qualifications:

  • Progressive IT technical experience in a related field
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma with an IT focus or equivalent
  • Experience working with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, etc.
  • Experience working with firewalls, TCP/IP and Internet connectivity configuration
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and certification (examples include Cisco, Aruba, Sonicwall, or Fortinet security appliances)
  • Experience with all aspects of business networks – end-user support, security, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, desktop and software version management
  • ITIL Certificate would be considered an asset

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: how you relate with others even when you're under the pressure of an interview
  • Examples of how you manage multiple projects at a time taking into consideration time management and organizational skills
  • Example of projects you've completed autonomously and independently
  • Examples how you've gone above and beyond for your client group (whether in house or as a consultant in the past)
  • Commitment to the following schedule: Tuesday – Saturday (8 am – 5 pm)
