A Day in the Life of a Site Supervisor at FIRST ONSITE

Every day as a Site Supervisor is dynamic and fast-paced! You'll start by reviewing project plans and coordinating schedules with Project Managers, ensuring that every crew is ready to tackle the day. From overseeing on-site demos to creating detailed materials lists, you're the go-to person for keeping everything on track.

You'll lead the crews on-site, provide direction when needed, and make sure all work meets FIRST ONSITE's high standards for quality and safety. You'll also monitor progress, resolve issues, and communicate updates to keep everyone in the loop - no surprises!

Safety is always top of mind, so you'll conduct safety meetings and ensure that policies are followed. With an eye on both team efficiency and project timelines, you'll inspect work during and after repairs, making sure everything aligns with the scope before signing off.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience from the restoration/construction industry is a MUST HAVE (Preferably with Emergency MItigation experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian construction processes and project scheduling
  • 3+ years of experience as a supervisor or foreman, leading teams of up to 25 in restoration, emergency, or related industries
  • Familiarity with reconstruction practices (water, fire, mold, wind, and vandalism damage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS OFFFICE - Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, and Xactimate (essential)
  • Basic accounting knowledge (invoicing, billing, and general math)
  • A team player committed to customer service excellence
  • Ability to perform physical tasks: lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, crawlspaces)
