MARKETING COORDINATOR - THE SUCCESSFUL INVESTOR INC.

We are an established wealth management and investment publishing firm with 25+ years' experience in subscription marketing and independent portfolio management with assets under management verging on $1 billion and growing.

The Successful Investor is actively seeking an entry level Marketing Coordinator to oversee email deployment and support the marketing team with their day-to-day administrative and assorted marketing tasks. Applying what you have learnt in your college/university studies and your recent work experience, you will contribute ideas toward new marketing strategies to grow customer acquisition and retention. Your work will directly contribute toward the smooth execution of our marketing initiatives and activities, as well as enhance our overall department productivity and success.

The successful candidate is one who takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and a passion for finance. This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage your schedule effectively to meet deliverables on time. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important. You must be very efficient and highly attuned to the smallest of details, and your ability to multi-task and work on tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment is crucial. No task is too small and no challenge too great. A “can-do” attitude is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deploy marketing communications through email and on the website.
  • Support the marketing team in all its administrative duties.
  • Manage, report, and monitor the performance of social media.
  • Assist with the planning, development, and coordination of a wide range of marketing communications.
  • Maintain, update, and organize content development, email marketing assets, and webpage updates.
  • Assist with performance reporting on PPC campaigns, email marketing, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Provide input and direction toward timelines and deliverables for marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of all marketing projects.
  • Work diligently to help the company generate increased revenue through our marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with additional projects, tasks, and duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS: (Qualifications, Experience & Skills)

Required:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or related discipline.
  • 1+ years' experience in digital marketing.
  • 1+ years' experience with designing and modifying email marketing assets & webpages using HTML.
  • 1+ years' experience working with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and best practices to enhance online visibility and drive traffic.
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, and persuasive marketing copy.
  • Beginner to Intermediate understanding of Pay-per-click ads and their implementation to support advertising campaigns.

Considered an asset:

  • Marketing experience in the publishing and/or wealth management/finance industry.
  • Graphic design skills using Adobe to produce visually appealing marketing materials.
  • Experience in using HubSpot CRM & Marketing Hub.
