On behalf of our client, a well-established and respected General Contractor supporting projects throughout British Columbia, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant, to join their growing team in their Kelowna office.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in steering the accounting functions of the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining compliance with accounting standards. you will collaborate with various departments to uphold the financial integrity and growth of the organization.

- Competitive Compensation: [90,000 – 100,000]

- Excellent team environment
- Managing the accounting needs for construction projects from beginning to end.
- Project set up including assisting with budgeting, estimates and client billing set up.
- Job costing, variance analysis and regular reporting on different accounting functions.
- Full cycle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and progress billing.
- Additional ad hoc accounting duties as requested along with working closely alongside team members and other lines of business including project managers.
- 5 years of working in a similar role within the Construction Industry
- Accounting Designation or working towards (CA, GCA or CMA)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, where collaboration is the key to success.
