With the revitalization of historic Mount Pleasant, the bar was reopened in 2007 as The Biltmore Cabaret, with a fresh focus to recapture its musical tradition. Drawing from the rich local scene in Vancouver as well as the best in Canadian and international touring acts, The Biltmore Cabaret showcases talent from across a wide spectrum of music and the arts.
We are looking for a Security Guard to join our team, part time, at Biltmore Cabaret!

The Role
- Ensure all guests are being greeted as they are entering the property
- Keep an eye out for patrons.
- Keep track of capacity levels.
- Ensure patrons who are visibly intoxicated are escorted off the premises in a safe and professional manner.
- Keep an eye on the floor and anticipate the needs of guests and fellow team members
- Effectively communicate with team and offer support as their needs may require
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Valid B.C. Security License
- Valid Serving It Right Certificate
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time
- Work with minimum supervision and react quickly
- Communicate effectively and calmly in a variety of situations
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Security experience working in the hospitality industry (Bars or Nightclubs an asset)
Terms & Expectations
- After hours correspondence may be required
- This position is required for weekends and holidays, late night
