Job Description: AWS Developer (Serverless) Node.js Specialist

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Developer with expertise in serverless architectures, Node.js, and JavaScript development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with REST/SOAP-based services, web stacks, and frameworks, as well as a strong aptitude for problem-solving and collaboration. This role involves working on critical, customer-facing applications for a leading bank, recommending and implementing process and technology improvements, and staying updated with advancements in AWS and Node.js development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AWS Development & Migration:
   • Design, develop, and migrate applications to AWS using serverless architectures.
   • Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and other cloud-native solutions to build scalable, high-performance applications.
2. Application Development:
   • Develop, maintain, and enhance critical banking applications with a strong customer focus.
   • Utilize Node.js and JavaScript frameworks to create efficient, robust, and secure solutions.
   • Implement and maintain REST/SOAP-based web services.
3. Technical Expertise and Innovation:
   • Recommend and implement improvements in processes and technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
   • Stay informed about advancements in AWS, Node.js, and JavaScript development to ensure the use of best practices and emerging technologies.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Act as a key point of contact in a customer-facing role, understanding requirements and delivering solutions that meet business needs.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless project execution.
5. Project Management:
   • Manage organizational tasks effectively, ensuring on-time delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
   • Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong experience in AWS serverless development and migration projects.
  • Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and related libraries/frameworks.
  • Extensive knowledge of web stacks, REST/SOAP services, and cloud-native technologies.
• Soft Skills:
