Job Summary

The Supply Chain Investigations Manager will be critical to the success of the Asset Protection team at lululemon distribution centers. The Investigations Manager will develop and execute Security & Risk investigations initiatives that focus on protecting people and assets, maintaining a safe and secure environment for distribution centers, employees and guests, while educating distribution center teams on ways to minimize safety or security related investigation incidents and shrink.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Create and drive supply chain Investigation strategies to reduce unwanted criminal activity while identifying trends and patterns to cultivate investigation leads internally and externally.
  • Conduct static and mobile surveillance to validate investigations involving individuals, groups and establishments of interest.
  • Develop and build positive relationships with law enforcement agencies at local state and federal level as well as prosecuting offices, directing investigations and presenting cases for prosecution.
  • Work complex field and fence investigations, case development and resolution.
  • Identify new and emerging patterns of fraud and theft trends.
  • Provide testimony in criminal proceedings on behalf of the company.
  • Develop and elevate the skill sets of field-based specialists and investigators.
  • Collaborate with industry peers on developing large scale investigations focused on prolific and violent offenders.
  • Must ensure privacy/confidentiality in all communications to only those with a business need to know.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • 3 years experience in fulfillment supply chain investigations and procedures
  • Leadership and team building.
  • In depth knowledge of the techniques of stationary, mobile and electronic surveillance.
  • Excellent computer skills. Knowledge and experience in analytics, Microsoft Office and electronic supply chain software and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of criminal justice systems in both Canada and United States and/or readiness to learn.
  • Educate distribution center teams on ways to minimize safety and security related investigation incidents and shrink.
  • Ability to travel independently. May require up to 30% travel within the territory.

  • Utilize surveillance tactics to validate investigations involving individuals, groups and establishments of interest.

  • Collaborate with industry peers on developing large scale investigations focused on prolific and violent offenders.
  • Must be flexible and available on short notice.
  • Follow all local, state/provincial, and federal laws in the USA and Canada while providing investigation services.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
  • College preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of three or more years of experience in a field related to supply chain and/or business management, and responsible experience in the security industry.
  • Experience as an upper-level manager or Operations Manager in the field of security.
  • Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
