Who we need

Reporting to the Manager of People Systems & Analytics, we are looking for an Analyst, HRIS (Dayforce). You will analyze workforce data, optimize HR systems, and develop data reporting processes, bridging the gap between HRIS technology and people processes. You will play a vital role in generating data-driven insights that will enhance the employee experience and support the company's strategic goals.

This hybrid role requires 2 days of on-site work each week, with Wednesdays as a mandatory in-office day.

As our new Analyst, HRIS (Dayforce), you will:

  • Leverage data effectively. You will collect, clean, and analyze employee data, including demographics, recruitment, performance, engagement, retention, diversity, and compensation metrics. You will perform advanced statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and predictive factors related to workforce dynamics. You will develop, maintain, and deliver detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations on HR metrics, providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Support strategic direction. You will provide data-driven recommendations to support workforce planning, talent management, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. You will collaborate with HR business partners and other departments to understand their analytical needs and deliver customized solutions. You will identify and propose opportunities for improving HR processes and outcomes through data insights.
  • Manage the HRIS. You will manage and maintain the administration of the HRIS (Dayforce) and the ATS, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance. You will lead efforts to configure, update, and optimize HR systems to meet evolving People and business needs. You will partner with IT and HR teams to integrate data from multiple sources and maintain a comprehensive data warehouse. You will support and train HR staff and end-users on system features, reporting capabilities, and best practices. You will collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve HRIS-related issues.
  • Create and adhere to best practices. You will develop and implement data governance practices, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of HR data across systems. You will implement data quality controls and audits to maintain high standards of data integrity within the HRIS. You will support the development of standardized reporting and data definitions to ensure consistency in HR metrics.
  • Focus on process improvement. You will identify opportunities for process enhancements to streamline HR operations through a systematic approach. You will implement changes with a strong emphasis on data quality and precision, developing and maintaining thorough documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead. You will manage projects that intersect people analytics and HRIS, from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with university objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, finance, and academic departments, to deliver high-impact projects on time and within scope.

You have:

  • The experience. You have direct experience in people analytics and HRIS data and system management. You have excellent project management skills and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • The data analytics expertise. You have a successful track record of addressing complex data issues with a systematic approach. You can manage data with extreme precision, ensuring error-free results and maintaining high quality standards. You have an exceptional ability to deliver detailed, accurate, and actionable insights. You can translate complex data and technical concepts for non-technical senior-level audiences. You have proven experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as PowerBI.
  • The technical skills. You are highly proficient in Dayforce and can efficiently and effectively manage HRIS platforms and have a solid understanding of HR processes. Your skills enable you to stay current with HCM technology trends and implement strategic system improvements that drive operational efficiency.
  • The drive. You thrive in an independent role and can work towards multiple deadlines as part of a busy People team supporting hundreds of employees. You are detail-oriented and highly analytical. You take ownership of your work and are driven to succeed in a demanding, high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • The interpersonal skills. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively train HR staff on system functionalities and advocate for user needs. Your collaborative mindset ensures you thrive in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating initiative and independence.
