Salary:
Role: Publications and Brand Manager
Reports to: Director of Marketing and Communications
Publications Responsibilities
- Design and layout of ACC publications including magazines, reports, pamphlets and books
- Coordination with contributors to ensure timely and appropriate content for publications
- Manage all aspects of the production of printed materials
- Publication of blog, newsletter and other online stories, articles and materials
- Create custom visual elements and graphic designs as required for publications and online channels using the ACC style and brand guidelines
- Assist in the editing of all ACC publications and online properties
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials and assets for ACC events
- Support the marketing and communications department's work in the publication and maintenance of content on ACC websites
- Other duties as assigned
Brand management responsibilities
- Collaboration with all ACC departments to ensure they have the resources they need to maintain brand consistency
- Monitor brand standards across all ACC national websites, newsletters and digital and print channels
- Act as brand liaison between the Canmore office and ACC sections, volunteers and partners to support their needs and assist with maintaining brand standards
- Maintain templates and designs for the ACC's brand identity
Qualifications
- Diploma or greater focusing on communications, and/or marketing – required
- Minimum five years of graphic design experience – required
- Excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Canva – required
- Excellent copywriting, editing and written English language skills – required
- Five years print design experience – required
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects efficiently and effectively
- Brand management experience – asset
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and Teams – asset
- French as a second language – asset
