POSITION PURPOSE:

The Account Manager will be part of our expanding Professional Services team, which is focused on creating and maintaining client-facing website projects based on the WordPress content management system. This is a key role for our growing team and will be working closely with Sales and Professional Services website developers to gather requirements, maintain close communication with the customers during the website creation process, provide customers with status updates and ensure project is moving within scope and budget.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account and project management matters
  • Coordinate calls, meetings and communications between customers and project team throughout the client onboarding and project implementation phases
  • Document and communicate project status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to project team and client
  • Manage effective project implementation and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work with internal teams and/or customers to ensure complete and timely delivery of projects
  • Responsible for identifying potential areas of concern for customers before they arise and ensuring an excellent Service Delivery experience
  • Ability to hold regular governance sessions with all levels of leadership, both internally and externally
  • Coordinate and ensure successful project milestone events
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The optimal candidate will be a professional team player who has competitive fire and a significant interest in growing their skills and experience as an Account Manager. In addition, candidates need to be quick learners interested in applying their skills in account and project management
  • 1+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects/tasks concurrently
  • Ability to manage through difficult situations internally and with external customers
  • Ability to communicate website design info and ideas so others will understand
  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have excellent problem solving and the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Possess the desire to take on advanced responsibilities
  • Understands the link between a customer's business demands and the website creation process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • 4-year degree in Business, Computer Sciences, or Engineering preferred
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of website design and development
  • Experience with WordPress content management system
  • Understanding of web standards and best practices
  • Experience with WooCommerce
  • Experience with SEO best practices
