Available to work one (1) evening per week.

Position:

Under the supervision of the Program Director, following the clinical requirements set out by Health Sciences North, the Clinical Therapist will provide short-term evidence-based treatment to adult clients of the OSP program experiencing depression, anxiety and anxiety-related symptoms, by using CBT and CPT methodology in adherence with the OSP Clinical Model and Training guidelines. Assist in providing service navigation for clients as required. Participates in the OSP training program and ongoing education as required. Collaborate with team members across the OSP program's network of organizations in the provision of care. The clinical therapist will utilize an anti-oppression and trauma informed perspective. Will promote health, safety and wellness in the workplace. This position will promote healthy functioning by resolving potential conflict at the earliest possible opportunity. The successful candidate will contribute to solution-focused dialogue regarding clinical consultation with internal and community colleagues.

Qualifications:
•BSW/HBA in social sciences, MA/MSW preferred.
•Current Certificate of Registration with the OCSWSSW or CRPO that grants the designation to practice psychotherapy required.
•Demonstrated ability with anti-oppression. principles and practice.
•Formal CBT / CPT training with supervision/clinical consultation following the OSP model is preferred.
•Minimum of one (1) year of experience in triage, clinical assessment and treatment delivery of evidence-based CBT and CPT models.
•Bilingualism preferred in French & English. Unilingual candidates are also encouraged to apply.
•Demonstrated excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
•Conflict resolution skills, in addition to evidence of ethical practice
•Strong organizational and record keeping skills, including ability to master multiple electronic database systems.
•Demonstrated knowledge of relevant sections of legislation
•Knowledge and expertise in Indigenous Cultural Safety and Anti-Oppression, Anti-Racism practices
•Demonstrated team collaboration.
•Valid driver's license in the province of Ontario and use of an automobile
