Salary:

You will

  • Deliver an exemplary level of customer service by responding professionally and promptly to resident inquiries
  • Assist with the full life cycle of the resident process by:
    • advertising suites
    • staying informed of local market rents
    • conduct property tours to prospective residents
    • complete rental applications
    • conduct background and credit checks
    • facilitate the signing of all leases (including rental of storage and parking)
    • provide welcome or move out packages to residents
  • Input invoices into Yardi and prepare purchase orders
  • Follow up and collect monthly rents and maintain all tenant records
  • Ensure all residents provide copies of their insurance policies
  • Prepare and deliver all Resident Notices
  • Manage building parking and storage rentals, co-ordinate elevator and amenity bookings
  • Maintain up to date building contact lists for residents and contractors and assist in maintaining building maintenance files
  • Assist tenants with onboarding of building tenant portal
  • Assist the Residential Manager with move in and move out inspections
  • Program security fob and ensure the property in safe and secure at all times
  • Provide weekly reports as required by the Property Manager
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Property Manager
  • Attend periodic staff meetings
  • Assist in preparing and attending tenant events

You have

  • A minimum of 2 years residential rental experience
  • A strong understanding of the BC Residential Tenancy Act and its application
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • A willingness to learn and the ability to work without direction – a self starter
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Yardi Rent Café (an asset)

Salary range

  • $50,000 - $60,000 per year estimated, based on experience and qualifications
