A manufacturing company specializing in metal fabrication, is seeking a skilled Metal Polishing Specialist to join our team. As a Metal Polishing Specialist, you will be responsible for polishing, buffing, and finishing metal surfaces to achieve a high-quality, smooth, and reflective finish. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of different polishing techniques and materials are essential for success in this role.

• Prepares metal surfaces for polishing by cleaning, degreasing, and removing any dirt or contaminants
• Polishes metal surfaces using various hand-held tools, such as sanders, grinders, and buffers
• Applies polishing compounds and abrasives to achieve desired finish
• Inspects finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Performs routine maintenance on polishing equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborates with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery of products

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Metal Polishing Specialist or similar role
• Excellent knowledge of metal polishing techniques, tools, and materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality finishes
• Experience working with different types of metal, such as stainless steel, aluminum, and brass
• Ability to interpret and follow technical drawings and specifications
• Physical stamina and strength to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Additional certifications or training in metal polishing is a plus
