Green Tractors Inc., an expanding John Deere Dealer Group with seven Central Ontario locations, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a Branch Service Manager.

The Branch Service Manager is responsible for enforcing safe and efficient departmental processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, effective scheduling of Service Technicians according to current skill, and in alignment with customer needs and priorities, managing efficient logistics between dealer facilities, departmental recruiting, staffing and Employee development, and ensuring all Company policies are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Supports the Service Department marketing plan and execute annual Service Department goals and budget in alignment with the organization's financial and operational objectives, increasing overall sales and profitability of the department.
• Coordinates customer clinics, field days, and related promotional events.
• Submits all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit.
• Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge.
• Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing.
• Ensures all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order and monitor employee actions to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position.
• Act as an ambassador of the dealership at all times, fostering a sense of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Holds valid Heavy / Farm Equipment Mechanic license
• Valid driver's license is required
• Forklift license preferred
• Farm operations experience preferred
• 5+ years experience as a Heavy / Farm Equipment Technician
