Xtreme Oilfield is looking for Semi Vac Operators to join their team.This role is based out of St. Paul/ Bonnyville area. Job Responsibilities• Correct completion of all job-specific, employee-related, and equipment-related Xtreme Oilfield
paper/electronic work including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver's Logs, Pre and Post Vehicle Inspection and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms.
• Individuals are required on an as needed basis to facilitate training, provide coaching, mentoring and oversight to trainees.
• Cooperation and communication with Operations and Health Safety Environment team to provide input and review on Safe Operating Procedures, JSA's and field level documentation
• Understand and enforce project's detailed scope-of-work to maintain strict compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Work safely during all phases of performing the job duties required in the field.
• Ability to perform work inside areas of varying dimensions, involving squatting and crawling for
possible extended periods.
• Ability to follow directions; read/speak and understand English; read and understand common
danger placards / labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans.
• Operate various vehicles safely, including but not limited Body Vac, Tri Tri Vac truck.
• Project work may require out of town travel for various lengths of time• Work outside year-round in all types of weather.
• May work in environments that are extreme in nature like environmental conditions such as
heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, dangerous equipment, long hours etc.
• May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long
periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds or more.Examples: Lift 3” and 4” vacuum hoses from side of the truck to load and unload fluid. Approx. 20-30 pounds frequently.
Thread fittings into tank valves and open valves. 5-10 lbs of force needed. Use hammer to connect hammer unions to stinger barrels. 5 lbs
Pull stinger from truck and rack it back on. 30-40 lbs of force regularly.
Qualifications• Must have a minimum valid Class 1 Driver's license with air brakes endorsement and with a clean abstract.
• Must be able to effectively operate a manual transmission.
• Possess valid industry, training certificates including, but not limited to Industry tickets such as WHIMIS, Confined Space, CSO, H2S Alive, Hazard Assessment, First Aid
• Minimum 1-year experience working in the oil and gas well servicing industry.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process
