Solutions Technician isvresponsible for, operating the D.I. Water System, Boiler, and E-coat systems and providing guidance to production personnel on the chemical adds required for production process. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Chemical Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Perform routine chemical analyses (e.g., pH, concentration, temperature) of solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Adjust chemical compositions as needed to meet process specifications.
- Replenish and mix chemical solutions following established guidelines.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Inspect and maintain chemical processing equipment, including tanks, pumps, and filtration systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or processes to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for complex repairs or upgrades.
Quality Control:
- Ensure chemical solutions meet regulatory and customer quality standards.
- Document and report on chemical usage, adjustments, and any deviations from the standard.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols when handling hazardous materials.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals according to environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety training and audits.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve chemical efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and resolve issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of chemical analyses, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Prepare reports for management or regulatory agencies as needed.
- Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical training in chemistry or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in chemical handling, analysis, or maintenance in an industrial setting.
- Knowledge of industrial chemical processes and equipment.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct and interpret chemical tests.
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
