Social Media & Digital Marketing Intern Responsibilities
Social Media Content Creation: Creating, writing, editing, and sharing social content that builds meaningful B2B audience connections and achieves results. This includes writing compelling captions and creating on-brand graphics!
Social Media Management: Audience engagement is key! Scheduling social media content through Later and engaging with our digital audience through social media, collaborations, and partnerships.
Content Creation: Writing blog content, including conducting blog interviews and case studies, and assisting peers with publishing blogs that follow SEO best practices. Based on what you hear from our users, you could help maintain FAQ resources and craft compelling emails - anything and everything to support our customers!
Graphic Design: Using Canva, you will create engaging, brand-aligned graphics to accompany your content across multiple platforms including social media, blogs, and newsletters.
Email Marketing: Creating and executing compelling emails to connect with our customers and highlight our products and services and drive demand. This includes crafting engaging content, designing visually appealing templates, and analyzing campaign performance to continually improve results.
List Building: Helping identify potential new audiences and building lists of relevant contact information using data privacy best practices, as well as helping manage our contact database for quality and accuracy of information.
Learning & Development: Staying fresh is critical! Researching our market, customers, and competitors to identify opportunities, strengths, and weaknesses to inform our growth strategy. This could include listening to podcasts, attending webinars, reading articles and more!
Your Qualifications
You're a current post-secondary student, ideally from a business, marketing, communications, graphic design or related program.
You're a master at creating inclusive and engaging content that blends your style with our established brand voice. You'll be creating content for diverse platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok, and Email.
You have strong graphic design skills using a platform like Canva or Adobe InDesign.
You give a damn about creating impact and delivering experiences that delight, so you want to be part of (and contribute to) a performance-oriented culture. You understand that culture is only as strong as the sum of its parts, and you're all in on contributing positively.
You have a basic understanding of various analytics software, such as Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, and Twitter Analytics to drive engagement and performance.
You have experience with marketing technology, including all the usual suspects: content management systems (like Hubspot, Later, Buffer, Hootsuite), word processor applications (like Microsoft Word, Pages, Google Docs), and graphic design software (like Canva or Adobe).
