THE ROLE
STRIVE is currently collaborating on an excitingDirector of Human Resourcesposition with a reputable and fast growing development/construction organization. We are looking for a seasoned Human Resources Director to oversee and manage all aspects of the HR function within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the companys goals and objectives while ensuring full compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with the companys mission, vision, and values.
- Oversee and manage all HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise senior management on HR matters such as organizational development, succession planning, and employee engagement strategies.
- Create and execute strategies to attract, retain, and develop a skilled and diverse workforce.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Develop compensation and benefits programs that attract top talent while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Establish and nurture positive employee relations, fostering engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Lead the design and delivery of training and development initiatives to support organizational growth.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Address employee relations issues, including grievances and complaints, and provide conflict resolution guidance to supervisors and managers.
- Implement performance management systems to align with company objectives.
- Conduct regular HR audits to ensure legal compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of HR management experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Proven track record in developing and executing HR strategies, policies, and programs.
- Exceptional leadership and management abilities, with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees, leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Expertise in areas such as talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and training.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred, but not required.
