We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Assistant of Product Creation to join our Design and C&S Product Development team. Reporting to the C&S Product developer leader, the Assistant of Product Creation will be responsible for overseeing the seamless transition from design to production, ensuring the Design intent, fit, quality, and construction of our designs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Design and C&S product development team.
- Assist with the creation of design assets such as style illustrations, helping with design technical sketch.
- Produce detailed and accurate garment tech packs, including BOM, specifications, design details.
- Follow garment from development stage all the way through production stages to finished product.
- Liaise with international development teams to solve problems throughout sampling and production phases.
- Take part in fittings – measuring and photographing samples, taking detailed notes, and conveying corrections to factories.
- Assist with sourcing of fabrics and trims.
- Assist with care and content label upkeep and development.
- Take on special projects as needed.
- Create presentation boards, other visuals and keep the seasonal collection boards up to date
Skills/Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in fashion design, or equivalent training.
- 2 years of experience in design, menswear background considered an asset.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- High accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Abilities:
- Proven track record in effectively managing timelines and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently, adapting to project demands as needed.
- Keen interest in fashion, streetwear, and luxury brands.
- Willingness to learn and proactive approach to professional development.
