The Opportunity:
XTL Transport Inc. is looking for dynamic Class 1 Domestic Short Haul Drivers to join our outstanding Airdrie team.
At XTL, we understand the importance of our customers and their satisfaction. Our customers' needs and expectations are at the forefront of our operations, and we strive to deliver exceptional service at every turn.
Responsibilities:
- Must have valid Class 1 drivers license.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 long haul experience with at least two consecutive winters (Running Canada Wide or Canada/US)
- Must be willing to sleep in the truck for 5 days
- Must have reefer experience.
- Clean Abstract with ZERO moving violations (Example Speeding) with less than 5 demerits.
Compensation Structure:
- Starting rate of $28.12/hr for AB Regional (Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat etc.)
- Starting rate of $0.54 per mile (Grande Prairie, Saskatoon)
- ** Yearly hourly and mileage pay increases **
- Paid weekly through payroll
- Paid wait time at hourly rate
- Paid 2 day in class training and paid 3 days in cab training
- Newer International trucks and a fleet which is renewed every 3-4 years
