As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who has the passion to deliver the best possible care to our patients.

Summary: The Nurse Practitioner will assist physicians and allied health partners to ensure an effective patient care process. This is a four month contract with an opportunity to change into a permanent position. The pay range is $70-90 per hour. We are looking for a part-time and full-time NP.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care to patients in-person
• Coordinate care with in-house physicians and pharmacist team
• Perform proper documentation and record keeping to fulfill the medico-legal responsibilities
• Understand and be compliant with clinic process and procedures
• Activities including and not limited to - conducting patient interviews, histories, arranging follow up care appointments

Requirements:

• Active practice registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner or equivalent educational preparation
• Advanced nursing care knowledge related to health assessment, diagnostic, pharmacotherapeutics and invasive and minor surgical procedures required
• Minimum of one (1) year recent primary care nursing experience required
• Excellent patient focus and communication skills
• Experience with EMR is an asset
