We are looking for the best-in-class Billing and Client Finance Analyst. You are well versed in financial and business models and best practices. You will be responsible for your own tasks as well as being involved in larger departmental projects when necessary. This role demands a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. We operate in a fast-paced, agile environment - which means wearing many hats, being able to change direction quickly, and showing an eagerness to learn. The role requires people who can prioritize, multitask, and deliver.

Responsibilities

  • Exercise quality control on all aspects of data to maintain high standards of reporting.
  • Manage tasks across multiple internal clients at one time with varying deadlines and milestones.
  • Collaborate and lead in cross-functional / cross-disciplinary teams outside of your specific time zone and workdays

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and internal clients using non-technical terms as appropriate
  • Responsible for communicating and clarifying, if required, tasks and any changes to BCP team members to keep deliverables on track
  • Engage with internal clients both verbally and in writing with clear, concise helpful content regarding data / reports or status of your deliverables
  • Learn from internal client(s) / client calls to help less experienced team members connect the day-to-day work with the broader desired impact which will improve quality of deliverables
  • Incorporate feedback from supervisors and senior management to ensure professional growth and development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, economics, business administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 – 4 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Successful background check


Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze current and past financial data and performance
  • Prepare Billing reports based on budget versus actual analysis
  • Proficient in Excel to perform financial modeling, forecasting support and ad hoc analysis
  • Understand the drivers of project financial performance and identify and communicate when project performance isn't meeting expectations
  • Strong collaboration skills to support other members of the finance team
  • Strong data collection and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Good business administration skills
  • Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as government regulations.
