As our Senior Accountant, you will be responsible of all aspects of compliance, treasury, cost accounting, & analysis and project management. This position works with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will compile corporate financial data for management, the department and regulatory agencies and ensure proper accounting for transactions, prepare and disseminate relevant information and provide financial expertise to support management decision-making. Also, you will complete analytical reviews to ensure accuracy and identify trends and issues for management consideration.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage full-cycle accounting, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all financial reporting
- Lead budget preparation and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct detailed reconciliation analysis and oversee tax filings
- Prepare and analyze cash flow projections and conduct regular bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes, preparing relevant working papers and financial summaries
- Accounting Software Integrations & Plug-Ins/Maintenance
- Performing consolidation in specialized software, as well as ad hoc analysis of operational transactions.
- Preparing periodic and ad hoc reports for company executives and senior leadership
- Liaising with various departments to prepare monthly financial and non-financial KPI's
- Reports directly to the controller and supports VP, Finance as needed
Qualifications:
- An individual who has a CPA or equivalent Designation – or is writing the final exam
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, including 1-2 years in a senior or leadership position
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's
- Proficient in use of QuickBooks Online and Sage products
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
