As the champion of first impressions you will provide a wide variety of confidential and administrative support services to all SRM team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not be limited to:
    • Distributes mail/courier.
    • Tracks leadership team's vacation schedules.
    • Compiles and maintains contact lists.
    • Updates staff's contact information.
    • Maintains the company's office supplies.
    • Filing.
    • Revises and formats various documents.
    • Taking and entering customer orders, assisting with delivery scheduling.
    • Send out documents to any new hires via online system. Assist with all other HR requests.
  • Performs general accounting duties:
    • Billing.
    • Accounts Payable.
    • Accounts Receivable.
  • Manage office communications (answer phones, retrieve messages, forward calls).
  • Customer service
  • Participate and contribute to the SRM safety culture.
  • Help coordinate and update the service/ repair schedules for the commercial fleet.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of full-time experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong typing skills - able to type correspondence, tables, emails, envelopes, labels, documents, forms, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and an aptitude for learning various computer applications.
  • Tactful, diplomatic and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to utilize judgement and work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to take the initiative to liaise with other departments and/or external sources.
  • Experience with Quick books and BambooHR an asset.
  • Experience in construction or concrete industry an asset.
