Charton Hobbs is the largest privately owned wine and spirits agency in Canada representing some of the most prestigious wineries and distilleries worldwide. We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Warehouse Manager, based in Mississauga.
This position has a number of duties both within and outside of the Ontario headquarters of Charton Hobbs. The position has administrative and operational duties that requires the candidate to be flexible, time efficient, multi-tasking, and very organized. This position reports to the Ontario Sales Manager.
Office and Warehouse duties and responsibilities:
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
- Produce reports regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Preparation of items for shipping; (Inbound/Outbound)
- Handling couriers' preparation, and receiving
- Light maintenance work as required
- Daily communication with the Consignment Sales Coordinator and Sales Manager
- Accountable for invoices and goods being delivered and properly signed receipts.
- Unloading of deliveries, preparation of items for shipping;
- Inventory control of small warehouse with some forklift receiving & shipping of all warehouse material;
- Installation of office equipment; handling of photocopiers, fax machine; purchasing of supplies, handling couriers preparation and receiving;
- Light maintenance work as required;
- Strong communication skills and computer skills;
- Periodic reception desk/telephone relief;
- Periodic VIP / airport/downtown transportation of staff and suppliers;
Consignment Program Duties;
- Daily communication with the Consignment Sales Coordinator and Sales Manager.
- Pick up and Delivery of specialty goods from the LCBO to important GTA and surrounding area accounts in a timely manner.
- Accountable for invoices and goods being delivered and properly signed receipts;
- Extensive Knowledge of the GTA & surrounding areas;
- Organizational, multitasking and time management skills are required;
Other: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and periodic weekends; Must be physically fit and be able to lift and carry 41+ pounds and able to build displays or handle heavy material.
Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's license in the Ontario – with a clean driving record (abstract required). A Fork Lift Operators certificate is also required.
