Job Duties

You will perform the duties associated with your position including:

Operational:

· Assisting PM to ensure materials are ordered, approved, and delivered to site in a timely manner.

· Ability to work according to deadlines and prioritize workload.

· Oversee pre-construction meetings to ensure successful handoff from bid to execution.

· Assist PM in the management of change orders for assigned projects including negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impacts.

· Provide PM support in the management job closeout procedures including post project reviews to determine areas of success and improvement.

· Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.

· Create and provide Purchase Orders to foreman for miscellaneous material as required.

Safety:

· Ensure all Safety deliverables are complete from start to finish on projects.

· “Utilize” the Employee Safety Handbook, to coach and mentor direct reports.

· Participate in monthly safety meetings, confirm any actions resulting either preventative or corrective.

Project Management:

· Understand Project schedules and assist in the creation of plans to execute work.

· Assist PM in daily reporting of production totals for each project.

· Assist in the monthly forecast and cost accruing for existing projects.

· Provide support to the PM to ensure timely turnover of material requisitions, backup, and other job documents to appropriate department.

· Create, submit, and track project RFI's.

· Creating and submitting red line drawings using Bluebeam from drawing markups from field staff.

Administrative:

· Assist in the creation of manuals, commissioning documentation and final turn over documents.

· Assist in the development of Project QA/QC documents, implementation with field staff and tracking of completed/outstanding QC documents.

· Maintain document control, while distributing and logging of each individual document.

· Attend site meetings as required by the PM and take meeting minutes when necessary.

Requirements

Would be beneficial to have for consideration:

· CET

· Project management education

· Red Seal Journeyperson Electricians will be strongly considered

· Experience in electrical or civil construction an attribute

· Experience with Bluebeam Revu an attribute
