One of our clients is looking for Counterbalance Forklift Operator at Brampton, ON location for their facility.

Shift - 12 hour rotational continental

Pay rate - $20/hr - $24/hr

Responsibilities:

o Comply with all quality related policies, procedures and system requirements.
o Ensure forklift is in good working condition.
o Do forklift maintenance checks each day before start-up.
o Ensure that the presses do not have to wait for billets.

o Ensure all age ovens are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner.
o Ensure all aluminum scrap bins at saw locations and presses are emptied half hour before end of each shift.
o Stack material without causing damage to the load below it.
o Ensure all paper work is complete and follows the material to the next stage.

This job is a combination of helping at the pack station at the saw and driving the forklift.

Qualifications:

o Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience in forklift operation in automotive, aluminum extrusion or similar industry where wide and heavy loads needs to be transported.
o Must be able to read and write English and be familiar with weights and measurements. Basic Aptitude test will be conducted during interview.
o Basic computer skills required.
o Must have training in forklift driving and its safe operation through a recognized institute.
o Must have valid forklift license.
