Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Steamfitter to join our Clients team near Aurora, ON. The position will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to plan piping layouts.

• Cut, thread, and shape pipes as per system designs.

• Join pipes using welding, brazing, soldering, or gluing techniques.

• Inspect and test installed piping systems.

• Repair and maintain systems by replacing worn components.

• Collaborate with other construction personnel on-site.

Skills

• Proficient in rigging and welding pipes.

• Strong mechanical knowledge for fabricating and assembling structures.

• Skilled in using calipers for precise measurements.

• Familiarity with HVAC systems and technical drawings.

• Proficient in hand tools for pipefitting tasks.

• Capable of building and maintaining piping systems.

Requirements

• TIG and SMAW experience (TSSA certification preferred).

• Must possess Steamfitter trade certification; third- or fourth-year apprentices considered. (307A Steamfitter Certificate of Qualification preferred)

• 5 years in steamfitting and mechanical knowledge required

• Some personal tools required.

• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency required.
