One of our clients in Brampton,ON is looking for a Refrigeration B Technician for their facility.
Shift - Afternoon
Responsibilties -
Report any concerns regarding food safety and quality to authorized personnel capable of taking corrective measures.
Ensure that all tasks adhere to relevant regulations such as GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA, and safety protocols.
Maintain a consistently clean and safe working environment.
Regularly inspect and uphold the proper functioning of frozen refrigeration systems.
Follow specific safety protocols to maintain and troubleshoot Ammonia Refrigeration systems.
Analyze and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the layout of industrial refrigeration systems.
Utilize PLC programming for operational efficiency.
Address system issues promptly and provide timely corrective action to maintain optimal performance.
Coordinate with supervisors on short-term and long-term repairs to minimize production downtime.
Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, including cranes, jacks, and tractors, to position machinery during installation, setup, and repair.
Conduct preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems to prevent potential issues.
Regularly monitor and document compressor readings on an hourly basis.
Offer assistance on production, HACCP, and GMP issues to ensure compliance with company standards.
Provide additional support to the Maintenance crew when needed.
Qualifications:
Mandatory certification as a Refrigerator Operator "Class B."
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in the trade.
