THE ROLE

Are you a certified millwright looking for a great company to join in Brantford? This is a bright, clean and state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Brantford that is growing. This is an interesting role for millwrights who would like to work the unique weekend shift. Weekend Day Shift is Friday 12:00 pm-6:00 pm, and Saturday to Monday 6:00 am-6:00 pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and perform hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic and mechanical repairs to machinery
• Complete work orders promptly
• Inform the Maintenance Manager/Production Manager/Shift Supervisor of any machine breakdowns
• Improve machine uptime and prevent machine breakdowns through the implementation of P.M.s and problem-solving
• Keep inventory of machine spare parts and requisition when needed
• Keep a record of all spare parts used and time spent on each machine repair

REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed Industrial Millwright 433A
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a millwright or electrician position in a production manufacturing environment
• Experience in MIG welding is an asset
• Experience maintaining a Salvagnini or similar equipment
• Practical knowledge and experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronics and mechanical systems is a must
