Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable apartment facilities technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our upscale apartment community. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in various trades, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repairs:

1. Perform routine maintenance tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
2. Repair and replace appliances, fixtures, and equipment and or bring in appropriate collaborators
3. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues
4. Conduct unit inspections and
5. Address resident maintenance requests
6. Perform all apartment turnovers at month end

Preventative Maintenance:

1. Schedule and complete regular maintenance tasks (e.g., filter changes, smoke detector testing)
2. Inspect and maintain common areas (e.g., hallways, lobby, amenities)
3. Perform seasonal tasks (e.g., snow removal, gutter cleaning)
4. Lawn and garden maintenance

Customer Service:

1. Respond promptly to resident requests and concerns
2. Provide excellent communication and follow-up
3. Use and update Property Management Software system
4. Foster positive relationships with residents and staff

Safety and Compliance:

1. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations
