Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of equipment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning are essential for this role. Heavy equipment operation experience is considered an asset.

Shift 2 Mon-Fri: 7pm - 5am
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, including heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, trucks & trailers, etc.), to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues. Oversight of the company-wide maintenance program.
- Diagnosis and Repair: Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to determine the cause of equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements on both light and heavy equipment.
- Maintenance: Execute routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups, to prolong the lifespan of all equipment, including heavy machinery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment, especially when working with heavy machinery.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing small engines, pumps, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment (e.g., bulldozers, graders, and excavators).
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities to effectively diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail when working with intricate components and large machinery.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, repair tools, and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors.
