Are you a skilled Project Manager with a passion for overseeing and delivering projects? We're seeking an experienced professional to manage Commercial Door and Hardware Projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Salary: $85,000 - $92,000 (based on experience)
  • RRSP: 3% matching contribution

Requirements, Qualifications, and Work Conditions
  • Education & Experience:
    • University degree or college diploma in a related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Project Management or Architectural Engineering certificate preferred
    • 2-3 years of relevant project management experience
    • Completion of DHI courses or designation is an asset
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of building codes, life safety, and fire codes
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
  • Work Conditions:
    • Extended periods of sitting
    • Regular travel for site visits and client meetings
    • Occasional lifting of materials and supplies
Responsibilities
  • Material Detailing & Coordination: Prepare accurate submittal packages and production worksheets; order and source materials in alignment with project schedules.
  • Project Scheduling & Management: Oversee scheduling, shipping, and installation to meet deadlines.
  • Billing & Financial Oversight: Coordinate billing, manage change orders, and assist with collections.
  • Customer Relations: Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships within the industry.
  • Site Visits & Quality Control: Monitor project progress on construction sites and resolve disputes or deficiencies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall project success.
