WEISHAUPT DESIGN GROUP is a North American-based furniture retailer, manufacturer, and distributor engaged in both residential and contract markets, offering classic-contemporary designs with timeless style and enduring quality.

We are currently looking for a motivated Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our Digital Marketing team. If you are passionate about using technology to power a unique business, and crafting intuitive digital products, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (i.e. Product Managers, Sales, etc.)
• Develop scalable web applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies.
• Diagnose and improve platform features and performance.
• Maintain and update our frontend and backend tech stacks.
• Integrate AI technologies and models into our platform.
• Experience with AODA certification and implementation.
• Ensure high responsiveness and performance of applications
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance
• Integrate data from various databases and external services

Key Skills and Attributes:

• API development experience.
• Experience with Next, JSX Typescript, Tailwind, Vercel, and AWS
• BONUS: Deep understanding of JWT authentication, CORS handling, and related security protocols.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• An understanding of AI technologies, and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest trends and best practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with outsourced teams or agencies.
  
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on web app development experience
• Strong understanding of API integrations; Contentful and SAP
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Next, JSX Typescipt, Tailwind, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, React
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environment
• Strong skills in Back-End Web Development, Front-End Development, and Full-Stack Development
• AWS (EC2, RSD, S3)
• Experience in web and mobile application development (iOS & Android)
• BONUS: Node.js, React, Apache Cordova, SQL
• Foundational understanding of UX/UI
