The Supply Chain Coordinator will manage logistics, inventory, procurement, and material handling to align with Spire Global's strategic goals. This role includes coordinating shipping activities, managing relationships with third-party logistics providers, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and purchasing operations.
  • Material Handling: Safely handle and organize materials, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits.
  • Procurement Coordination: Manage the PR to PO process for inventory and non-inventory items.
  • Kitting: Assemble kits for production, ensuring all components are included and accounted for.
  • 3PL Management: Build relationships with 3PL providers, negotiate rates, and schedule domestic and international shipments.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Oversee shipping and receiving activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely customs clearance.
  • Data Management: Utilize inventory software to track material flow and generate reports.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Quality Control: Implement measures to ensure material integrity and compliance with standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote safety protocols within the workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 3-year College diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive supply chain management or logistics experience, ideally in manufacturing or aerospace.
  • Certifications: APICS CSCP, CPIM, PMP, or Six Sigma certification beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and data analysis; ERP familiarity is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills; collaborative mindset.
  • Safety Training: Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance in warehousing and logistics.

This position will require you to work 5 days in the office.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Final base salary for this role will be based on the location, skills, experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for annual equity awards and our employee benefits program, including vacation, sick, and personal time off; optional medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a Registered Retirement Savings Plan; health and wellness reimbursement program; and participation in Spire's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. We reserve the right to go outside of the range and/or modify the range or benefits at any time.

Salary Range$80,000—$116,000 CAD
