We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Contracted Workers to join our team. As a Contracted Worker, you will play a crucial role in our organization, providing your expertise and contributing to our projects. Unlike our internal employees, Contracted Workers will have full flexibility in their work hours, as long as they meet the deadlines for their assigned tasks. They will also have the freedom to work from anywhere in the world, making this an ideal opportunity for those who value remote work.

Job Summary

Our contracted copywriter is a professional word nerd; someone who understands that language is a living, breathing thing. They understand all of the technicalities of writing, but they also get that good digital content means bending the rules. (Just a lil' bit.)

As a copywriter, you create compelling content that educates and inspires readers to take action. You receive feedback from the editing team and adjust your writing to meet our content standards. You're detail-oriented, take feedback well, and are comfortable explaining complex concepts to easily distracted people.

And, of course, love and devotion for the Oxford comma is an absolute must!

Compensation for this position is based on a per-project rate.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure content aligns with industry regulations
  • Create content that adheres to our internal standards and style guidelines
  • Write content as needed across our products

Required Experience & Skills

Must-Have:

  • Fluency in North American English grammar, spelling, & punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of proofreading
  • Strong writing and overall communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • General understanding of SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with the concepts of user intent and user experience
  • Experience with digital content
