While most of our engineering and production activities are undertaken in New Brunswick, Canada, SmartSkin has an increasing global presence with team members located in Atlanta, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Munich, Los Angeles, San Jose, Nottingham and Tokyo.

We are seeking a full-time Shipping and Admin Clerk for a 12-14 month contract. Our ideal candidate has experience with shipping products internationally and knowledge of general office procedures.

As Shipping & Admin Clerk you will:

  • Coordinate the shipping of SmartSkin's products, including preparing complete and accurate paperwork, labeling, and secure packing.
  • Provide professional service when interacting with vendors and clients.
  • Maintain the availability, organization and accessibility of office and company supplies.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external clients.
  • Work with the team to accomplish additional tasks as required.
  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
  • Follow proper procedures and endeavor to find ways to continuously improve processes in alignment with SmartSkin's quality standards and Quality Policy.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Shipping and receiving experience, including international shipping
  • Familiarity with courier services like Fedex, UPS and DHL
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks
  • Physical capability to pack and lift items up to 75 lbs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
  • Resourcefulness and the ability to work independently
  • A desire to assist others and take on additional responsibilities
  • A post-secondary education in a related field and relevant work experience
