Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced residential home cleaner to join our team. As a residential home cleaner, you will be responsible for providing exceptional cleaning services to our clients' homes and apartments. This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemicals, and the ability to work efficiently and independently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the care team to ensure cohesive support for clients' needs while maintaining cleanliness standards in residential environments.
- Perform thorough cleaning of clients' homes and apartments, including but not limited to:
- Dusting all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and baseboards.
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs, and mopping hard floors.
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and bathroom surfaces, including sinks, countertops, bathtubs, showers, and toilets.
- Wiping down mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces.
- Cleaning and disinfecting appliances, such as stovetops, ovens, and refrigerators.
- Emptying trash bins and disposing of garbage.
- Making beds and changing linens (if requested by clients).
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks including:
- Cleaning inside and outside of kitchen cabinets and drawers.
- Cleaning inside of refrigerator and oven.
- Cleaning light fixtures and ceiling fans.
- Washing window blinds and curtains.
- Cleaning grout and tile surfaces.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer instructions.
- Adapt cleaning techniques and products for homes with pets, ensuring removal of pet hair and odors.
- Communicate with clients to understand their cleaning preferences and any specific instructions.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
- Work efficiently and effectively to complete assigned tasks within the scheduled time frame.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all cleaning assignments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Proven experience as a Residential House Cleaner or similar role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
- Comfortable working in homes with animals.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
