What Success Looks Like in this Role:

In the role of Landing Page Designer at Pearl West Group, success is defined by the consistent delivery of high-performing and visually compelling landing pages that drive measurable business outcomes.

The main pages that will be created are the following:

  • Advertorials
  • Listicles
  • Sales Pages
  • Upsell, downsell, and cross sell pages
  • Product Pages

A successful landing page designer will submit work that will consistently achieve an average of 3.5% conversion rate on their pages and funnel designs across targeted campaigns.

In terms of individual funnel page metrics, a successful candidate will achieve the following Click through rates:

  • Presell pages: 30-50% CTR
  • Sales Page: 60% + CTR
  • Checkout Page: 15% + CTR
  • Upsell Pages: 20% + CTR

Two other key metrics that will determine success are average order value and revenue per visitor. A successful landing page designer will increase both of these metrics by a minimum of 20% by using proper conversion rate and order bumping design techniques.

In order to be successful, there are a few key requirements that a candidate must have. These requirements are:

  • Proven experience in designing landing pages.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in landing page design.
  • Solid understanding of CRO principles and how to apply them to design.
  • Strong understanding of Customer UX
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Experience with AI tools and techniques in the context of design (e.g., Adobe Sensei, DALL-E, or other AI-powered design tools).
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus but not required.

We are a fast paced environment and will expect fast delivery.

With 5 brands in our portfolio, we are looking for a landing page designer who can design a minimum of 4 pages per week while maintaining high quality standards.

A successful candidate will not only deliver high-quality designs but will also continuously analyze and iterate on performance to exceed key metrics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

The following are the key performance indicators that will measure your success:

  1. Achieve an average of 3.5% CVR across all landing pages.
  2. Boost revenue per visitor (RPV) by at least 20%.
  3. Design a minimum of 4 landing pages/week
  4. Boost Average Order Value (AOV) by at least 20%
  5. Achieve listed click through rates on each individual funnel page shown above.

Primary Activities:

  1. Design Landing pages using briefs and competitor swipe files while maintaining design elements from our brand guidelines
  2. Lead design iterations based on rigorous A/B testing outcomes to maximize performance.
  3. Analyze landing page performance using tools such as microsoft clarity, Intelligems, or funnelish funnel data in order to suggest and develop improvements to test against control variants.
  4. Experiment with and deploy cutting-edge AI tools to streamline design processes and enhance creativity.

Regular Work Activities:

Design & Development:

  • Create high-converting landing pages, including advertorials, listicles, sales pages, and product detail pages (PDP).
  • Develop responsive designs optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
  • Build pages in Replo, Shopify, or Funnelish, ensuring seamless integration with the platform.

Conversion Optimization:

  • Analyze landing page performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Design for A/B testing on elements such as headlines, CTAs, layouts, and imagery.
  • Regularly refine landing pages to improve conversion rates, RPV, and AOV.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with marketing and content teams to align designs with campaign objectives and brand standards.
  • Coordinate with analytics teams to review performance data and iteratively enhance page effectiveness.

Innovation & Research:

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in design, UX, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Experiment with new tools and techniques, including AI-powered design tools, to enhance efficiency and creativity.
  • Research competitors' landing pages and industry standards to ensure our brands stay ahead of trends.

Maintenance & Documentation:

  • Maintain an organized repository of landing page assets, including templates and graphics from either our own pages or proven pages by competitors.
  • Update existing landing pages to reflect current branding and marketing campaigns.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
