A Day in the Life of the Project Manager:
As a Project Manager, your day will revolve around solving complex technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and collaborating with various teams. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to interact with the company's customers in a clear and professional manner, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have great attention to detail, being capable technically of navigating through remote systems operating on Linux OS and comfortable performing basic SQL functions, being able to analyze debug level log of live systems.
So, how are they going to keep you busy:
Controlling project scoping, pricing and specification according to our client's best practice for projects mainly located in the Americas region (North, Central and South America)
Planning, tracking, escalation and change management, governance and risk management
You are the technical interface and expert towards customers to understand and build complex solutions.
You are responsible for driving, monitoring and maintaining high customer satisfaction to achieve the budget.
You are the bridge and main contact point for the delivery organization and are responsible for the onboarding of customers.
You partner with internal stakeholders including R&D, Sales, and Professional Services teams to finalize solution scope, price, schedule, and implementation tracking
What will make you eligible for this role:
3-5+ years' experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the Telecom Industry
5-7+ years in the Telecommunications industry, preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering/Telecommunications/Computer Science preferred
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and function well within a team
Client-facing experience, remote and on-site
English Language proficiency, written and verbal – a must
Spanish language fluency – an advantage
French language fluency – an advantage
Portuguese language fluency – an advantage
You like taking initiative, are highly motivated, creative thinker, and able to work independently.
You are used to working under pressure and able to work with multiple stakeholders in parallel.
Knowledge of GSM [MAP Signaling], CAMEL, ISUP, Sigtran, SIP, SS7, Diameter Protocols, 5G SA – a strong advantage
