The Management Trainee program at Primerica is designed for individuals who aspire to grow into leadership roles within the financial services industry. As a Management Trainee, you will be trained in all aspects of Primerica's business, from sales and client service to leadership and team management. This program is intended to prepare you for a managerial position while you learn how to manage teams, develop sales strategies, and guide clients toward achieving their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:Leadership Development:
- Work closely with senior leaders and mentors to understand the leadership structure and management practices within Primerica.
- Participate in leadership training programs to develop key management skills, including team leadership, motivation, performance management, and strategic planning.
- Take on increasing responsibility for managing small teams, ensuring high productivity and performance.
Sales & Financial Services Knowledge:
- Learn Primerica's full range of financial products and services, including life insurance, investment solutions, retirement planning, and debt management.
- Gain hands-on experience by participating in the sales process, conducting client meetings, and understanding how to provide customized financial plans.
- Help train and mentor new team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and client engagement strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and team members.
- Assist in educating clients on the importance of financial planning and guide them through their financial decisions.
- Ensure that clients receive personalized services and solutions that align with their financial goals and needs.
Team & Project Management:
- Support team members by setting goals, tracking progress, and helping them overcome challenges.
- Take part in recruiting, training, and motivating new associates to grow the business.
- Participate in team meetings and sales campaigns to help boost overall performance and company growth.
Sales Strategy & Goal Achievement:
- Assist in setting personal and team sales goals, while contributing to the development and implementation of sales strategies.
- Monitor progress toward goals, assess performance, and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure success.
- Gain experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation as part of the management process.
Operational Support:
- Help oversee day-to-day operations within the office, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage and organize schedules, client meetings, and administrative tasks to ensure that all activities are completed on time and within company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and internal policies related to financial services and insurance products.
Training & Development:
- Participate in Primerica's structured training programs to enhance your skills in leadership, sales, marketing, financial services, and business operations.
- Work with other management trainees to collaborate on projects, share insights, and strengthen your leadership capabilities.
- Mentor and support new associates as they progress through their training and begin their career in financial services.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior financial services or management experience required. However, previous experience in leadership, sales, or customer service is beneficial.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Interest in personal finance, investments, and business management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Licensing & Training: Must be willing to obtain necessary licenses as part of the training program. Primerica provides the required training to help you succeed.
