The Role

Our team is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver for one of our supplier clients. This opportunity offers daytime shifts Monday to Friday. Preference is to be given to those withforklift and inventory count experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring shipments are stored correctly in the warehouse
• Work with other departments to ensure invoices match original orders
• Load/unload materials using a forklift
• Maintain a clean work environment and clear pathways for trucks and forklifts
• Completes all paperwork and documentation required
• Regular inventory management, and cycle counts
• Reporting product shortages in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of warehousing and forklift experience, as well as inventory control experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods of time
• A strong team player having the natural initiative to support in other stations if required, as well as being able to work well independently
• Able to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Strong accountability, and ability to follow instructions
• Remarkable attention to detail
• Time management and organization
• Capable of complying with health and safety regulations

Compensation

• $24-$28 an hour with the opportunity to negotiate for the right profile
